Lake Arrowhead,
Lake Arrowhead, California is often called 'The Alps of
Southern California'. Located in San Bernardino County,
California Lake Arrowhead is part of the San Bernardino
National Forest and is best known as a cozy mountain
resort area where people can find many activities or
simply some peace and quiet. Originally inhabited by the
Serrano Indians, Lake Arrowhead is now a mountain resort
area with easy access to Los Angeles, skiing, camping,
shopping and recreation. For hikers, the Pacific Crest
Trail is about seven miles away and runs from the
Mexican border to Canada. |
