The elevation in the Hill Units varies from 5,000 to 6,400 feet. The Hill Units cover an area of 20,000 acres, which are almost all covered with pine trees. The Hill Units have three stocked trout ponds and three campgrounds. The main paved road runs through Hill Units 1 through 3, with Hill Units 4 and 5 having all gravel and cinder roads. The secondary roads in Hill Units 1 through 3 are also gravel and cinders. The power line runs along the main road through all the Hill Units, ending two-thirds of the way through Unit 5.

  1. Upon completion of the auction, within 1 business day, the seller will forward to the buyer an electronic copy of the deed proving ownership.
  2. Within 3 business days, the seller will make payment in full to the buyer. Along with the final selling price plus 10% buyer's premium will be a $195 document transfer fee. Payment is made in US Dollars.
  3. Once the property is paid in full, we will prepare a Quit Claim Deed to officially transfer ownership of the property purchased to you. Attached is information you will need to provide to us for the recording of the deed.

The original Quit Claim Deed will be mailed to be recorded to the County Clerk's office and we will email you an electronic copy. The county will send you the original stamped recorded deed usually within 4 - 6 weeks.

Questions on zoning, building restrictions, property address, location, driving directions, etc. can be answered by speaking with the County Offices.
