EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION:
Light Blue home with white trim accented with brick located on large mature treed lot with grassed yard and landscaping plants around house. Home is adorned with large brick chimney atop asphalt signal roof that has no signs of leakage in home and is in modest condition; appears to have some aging shingles - yet with the maintenance and roof cleaning have few years left in their service life. Soffits are open fascia with exposed wood in good repair however could use fresh coat of paint and possible caulking of soffit rafters. Eves are open with roof overhang to edge of soffits rafters so no exposed wood thus no mainteance required concerning eves which is nice feature of this open fascia design. Exterior composition is wood frame construction with wood slat board covering in good condition that is painted in nice light blue color; however could use nice thick coat for maintenance and to maintain homes good exterior for many years. Windows of home are wood frame box windows with metal swivel hook locks that need repair in addition to rescreening some windows need complete overhaul or replacement; however the basic frames of windows are intact and good for refurbishment if so desired. Foundation is raised concrete block appears solid with no signs apparent of shifting or cracking that was noted on site. Covered front porch has brick foundation and concrete slab poured decking that has concrete steps leading to its threshold; this is centerpiece of front of house and has good curb appeal let alone providing area to relax and enjoy neighborhood. Home is 3/5 partial fenced mainly from shared adjacent lots providing 4 ft chain link barrier to the property. Driveway is dirt which could be easily updated with concrete or gravel if so desired for easy upgrade to property value.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION:
Living room is entered from front porch threshold and provides good view though its nicely placed windows that are four in number. Fireplace is block up yet could be opened up if one so chooses. Panel walls surround the room which are light pine accented and in good repair with trim work provided in corners, ceiling, and floors. Flooring is carpet and has some spots which will require cleaning or replacement in addition to ceiling which could use repaint. Central hallway is main corridor for property which has light color wood accented paneling. Kitchen has intact cabinets, gas line (not tested), double basin stainless sink, nice linoleum flooring and good decor with wooden window accents off cabinets. Bedroom#1 is corner room with good - views, paneling, and carpet. Bedroom#2 is side room with two windows and also has good paneling and carpet. Bath is large room with intact antique claw foot tub, vanity sink, and good toilet updated recently with linoleum flooring in spacious room. Bath also has electric water heater in good repair and place for washer in room for laundry.
MECHANICALS:
Home has chimney for fireplace bricked up. Electric 30 gallon water heater intact in good repair in bath, central HVAC system with heat pump and AC noting the good Carrier brand although system does appear to have some rust externally looks functional (not tested). Home has central ductwork for ventilation and HVAC in good repair. Plumbing is a mix of galvanized, copper, and PVC appears functional and intact although not tested. Electrical system is intact with modern grounded sockets, panel breaker box, and organized wiring in decent shape (not tested) although one burnt socket was noted during inspection requiring repair of further inspection of system.
