The cottage is located near my partner's home town of Vald'or Quebec (International Airport in Val-d'or where a number of major airlines fly into), which is 325 miles North of the city of Montreal. From Val-d'or you drive 25 miles south on a well maintained gravel road to the Main lodge, Northern Outfitters, and then travel 8 miles on water to the Cottage. Val-d'or has an inexpensive storage area for your boat, where it then can easily be put into the river with a public ramp access, and can be left over the winter and watched over.
