Payment in full to the Washtenaw County Treasurer by Wire Transfer, Certified/Cashier's Check, Bank Money Order, credit card or cash is required no later than 5:00 PM ET on the day after the sale of the successfully bid upon auction (within one business day of the close of the auction). If the payment policy is not adhered to, the successful bidder may be banned from future sales for five (5) years.

The Washtenaw County Treasurer may require from the winning bidder a cash performance bond of equal to or greater than $126,000 to demolish the units or to bring them into compliance with the requirements of the Charter Township of Ypsilanti. This performance bond is in addition to the winning bid amount and must be paid in cash or certified funds at the time of settlement. It will be set aside in escrow for the specific purpose of meeting the Township's requirements.
