BID4ASSETS® was inspired by a real world auction experience. In February
1999 the company's founders were bidding on a $5 million building at a traditional auction on the COURTHOUSE STEPS® in Baltimore. For two hours, nearly a hundred investors stood shivering in the cold and snow with cashier's checks in hand. Our founders imagined a better way to auction high-value assets: the Internet. Bid4Assets was incorporated that week, and in November 1999 bid4assets.com was launched.
Bid4Assets is the online auction marketplace for high-value assets like real estate, jewelry and rare collectibles.
Government agencies and an extensive community of private sellers rely on Bid4Assets to connect with buyers interested in unique personal property and real estate.
