Every seller on the Bid4Assets Web site displays a Seller Rating Profile next to their name on their auction listing page. This Rating Profile is made up of feedback from Bid4Assets buyers.

The Rating Profile is based on a five-star rating system (one being very dissatisfied and five being very satisfied) and can be found next to the seller's username on the auction listing page. Based on the number of buyer feedback received, the Seller Rating Profile could display one of the following results:

This means that the seller has an overall four-star rating (buyers are satisfied) and has received 124 feedback ratings to date.

This means the seller has not been rated as of yet.

This means that the seller is either a government agency or a 501(c)(3) organization.

The Seller Rating System is easy to use and is valuable to both buyers and sellers alike. The seller has the opportunity to build and maintain a positive track record and the buyer has the ability to review the history of the seller prior to placing a bid.

A link to the Seller Rating System can be found in the Help Section, at the bottom of the Web site or by clicking here. The auction ID# is required to access the Seller Rating System.

Rate a Seller
Winning bidders can access our Seller Rating System to rate a seller for a recent transaction.

  Seller Rating System Guide

How it works…
After the close of the auction, the winning bidder will have the ability to rate the seller and the transaction based on the following three criteria using a scale of 1 to 5 (one being very dissatisfied and five being very satisfied):

The link to rate the seller can be found in three places - in the winning bidder notification email, at the bottom of the Web site and in the Help Section. Only the winning bidder can submit feedback for an auction marked sold, and the feedback must be placed within 45 days of the close of the auction.

Users will be able to access summary data on seller ratings for the past 7 days, past month and past 3 months based on the three criteria and will be able to access detailed information on the transactions that were rated.

Some of the seller rating system requirements and restrictions include:
  • Only the winning bidder may submit feedback once per auction.
  • No comments can be entered or posted.
  • Feedback may be submitted within 45 days of the close of auction.
  • Only winning bidders with an active account may submit feedback.
