Facts about Lander County: Lander County is located in north central Nevada. Highway 80 runs directly through it. It's a breathtaking area filled with mountains, plains and lush canyons. The city of Battle Mountain is a short drive from the property. It's the seat of government for Lander County and is located in the northwest corner of the County. Strategically situated on Interstate 80 at the intersection with Nevada State Route 305, Battle Mountain is the approximate mid-way point on this important commerce route across the state, 55 miles east of Winnemucca and 67 miles west of Elko. It's a small, rural community, set amidst vast tracts of open range and mountain terrain.
