Hudspeth County lies in Far West Texas bordered by New Mexico on the north and by Mexico on the south. It was named after the separation from El Paso County. The scenery to the east of this section is especially beautiful because of the looming mountains within Guadalupe National Park, which is located just three miles away to the east. The climate is subtropical, arid, warm, and dry, with an average minimum temperature of 29 in January and an average high temperature of 94 in July. The sunsets are magnificent here because the air is so clean and unpolluted.

The county is also just seventy-five miles southeast of El Paso, which is considered to be one of the nation's third fastest growing metropolitan areas. You will be close to the Park where you can enjoy views of El Capitan and the Guadalupe Peak. You will also be close to Big Bend National Park and the Carlsbad Caverns

 

DIRECTION:  Dell City, Texas is 93.35 miles East of El Paso, Texas off of US Hwy. 62. From Dell City FM 2249 go South 1.05 miles along FM 1437 to the intersection of Williams Road, then East 9.27 miles to the intersection of a Section Line Road, then North 4.87 miles to the Access Road of above said section
