Sharp County is a county located in the northeastern part of Arkansas. The county’s northern border is Missouri.  As of the 2010 census, the population was 17,264. The county seat is Ash Flat, approximately 13.5 miles to west – southwest of the tracts. 

The area is part of the Ozark Mountains, an area of large rolling hills, heavily incised by streams and rivers.  The area is heavily wooded and contains many parks, lakes, and historical areas.  Also, the area is rural, and although shopping and restaurants are close by in Hardy, the peace and quiet of the country surround you.

The tracts lie in a subdivision called Ozark Acres, a partially built out subdivision approximately 4.75 miles east of Hardy, Arkansas.  The streets in the subdivision surround two lakes, Vagabond Lake and Spring Lake. Vagabond Lake includes parks and beaches along the banks and fishing and boating opportunities.  And there is a community club house at the western edge of the lake.  Camping in the subdivision can be found at Camp Kleier, just north of Spring Lake.   Access to the subdivision is good, with several connections to US Highway 63 that borders the subdivision.

The largest community in the County lies only 7.5 miles away in Cherokee Village, where there is a golf course, lakes, stables for riding and other amenities geared for the leisure crowd.  Highlands, which border Cherokee Village offers dining and shopping, schools, and the regional airport.  All of these lie less than 12 miles away from the subdivision along the highway.
