Area Description
 
 This area is a perfect sportsman’s paradise. Only a half hour drive from a growing and popular city.  The property is only a few miles south of the Oregon border in the Iron Gate Lake Reservoir area and only a few miles from Copco Lake.  The nearest town is Hornbrook, which is about 5 miles away and the city of Medford, Oregon is a straight shot up I-5 only 25 miles away.  Medford is also the home to the nearest International airport (Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport). The Medford, Oregon area is home to about 200,000 people and offers great shopping, dining and culture. Also about 25 miles away is Mt Shasta and Lake Shastina.  Mt Shasta, with a summit of 14,161 feet offers some of the best skiing in the western Unites States.  In addition to the fantastic skiing/snowboarding there are also dog sledding excursions, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country. As wonderful as this area is in the winter, the summer season offers an even larger array of activities.  Lake Shastina and the Shasta River offer white water rafting, boating, fishing, and kayaking with guided tours and outfitters.  The area is also home to an 18-hole championship golf course and numerous other 18 hole courses.   Also about 30 miles to the east is the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge, which is home to the largest concentration of Bald Eagles in North America in the winter months of December - February.

Payment: You are bidding on the full purchase price of this property. This is not a down payment auction! This is not a tax sale or foreclosure. The time period for the deed transfer depends on the county, but we will do our best to have the deed delivered between 2-4 weeks after purchase. Payment must be received within 5 days of the close of the auction via Cashier’s Check or Money Order. Once payment is received and cleared by the bank, the deed will be issued and sent to the county to be recorded and then mailed to you.
