Legal Description | A certain lot of ground or parcel of land, situated in the Parish of Lafourche, State of Louisiana, on the left descending bank of Bayou Lafourche, at about seven (7) or eight (8) road miles from the Town of Thibodaux, in the Chackbay Settlement said lot of ground is located on the South side of the public highway number 304 running through the said Chackbay Settlement, and measures thirty-six (36') feet front on said highway by a depth of one hundred ten (110') feet; bounded on the west by property of Jerry Evans, on the east by property of Ranson Carter, on the south or rear by property of Percy Landry, and on the north or front by the said Louisiana Highway 304, all boundaries now or formerly; together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all the rights, ways, privileges and servitudes and appurtenances thereunto appertaining. |

General Sale Information
The seller requires that the winning bidder submit the deed transfer information to Bid4Assets within 2 days of the close of auction.
To bid on this auction, all bidders are required to become qualified by placing a deposit. The deposit of the winning bidder is automatically transferred to the seller at the end of the auction. If the winning bidder fails to perform on any auction, the entire BidDeposit will be forfeited to the seller. Non-winning bidder deposit refunds are mailed within ten (10) business days after the close of the auction. This deposit cannot be applied to other auctions. Settlement payments are due ten business days after the auction ends. Bid4Assets will audit and submit payments to Parish, along with the settlement report, within three business days after the settlement due date.
Payments shall be made to Lafourche Parish Sheriff. No exceptions will be made. If the payment policy is not adhered to the winning bidder will forfeit their deposit to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office and may be banned from future sales.
