Bid4Assets Tax Sales Now Require Pre-Vesting Information During Registration

Starting with the Santa Clara, California tax sale scheduled to begin on October 25th, all Bid4Assets tax sales will require participants to provide pre-vesting information as part of submitting a bid deposit.

So, what does this mean for you as a bidder? Going forward, when you are interested in a particular county’s sale, you will visit their storefront and select the “Click Here for Deposit Instructions” button like always.

Now however, instead of being taken directly to receive your deposit instructions, you will first be required to enter details regarding what information you would like recorded on your deed should you win property in the tax sale.

You will be able to change your vesting information after the tax sale is over should you win property, including vesting different parcels to different parties. To do this, you will simply access the DeedWizard tool from your account’s main page at the end of the sale and enter any new information required there.

After you submit your pre-vesting information you will be able to proceed and view deposit instructions for the tax sale. Bid4Assets will not be able to process your deposit until you have filled out vesting information. Ensure your vesting information has been filled out before submitting a deposit for the tax sale of your choice.

If you have more questions about pre-vesting requirements, please get in contact with our customer service team for further assistance.
